Reporting an incorrect grading scale

This is the message we most want to receive. Every scale on the site was checked against the school's own registrar or academic catalogue, but institutions revise their grading policies and catalogue pages move. If your school's page here does not match what your registrar publishes, we would rather hear it from you than leave a student calculating the wrong number.

To make a correction quick to act on, please include:

The school name and a link to the page on our site.
A link to the official source — a registrar page, academic catalogue, or student handbook. We do not update scales on the basis of another calculator site.
What specifically is wrong: the grade point for a particular letter, whether an A+ is awarded, or an honours threshold that has changed.

Our methodology page explains the standard a source has to meet before we publish it, and each university page shows the date its policies were last checked.

Suggesting a school we don't cover

We add schools in batches, verifying each scale against official sources before it goes live rather than publishing a plausible guess. If your university is missing, send the name along with a link to its grading policy and it will go into the next batch. Schools whose policies are published clearly are naturally the fastest to add.

Corrections to guides and calculations

If a worked example is wrong, a formula is misstated, or a guide gives advice that does not hold at your institution, tell us which page and what you believe the correct answer is. Mathematical errors are treated as urgent; anything affecting a number a student might rely on gets fixed ahead of new content.

What we can't help with

We are an independent study tool with no affiliation to any university, examination board, or CBSE. That means we cannot access your transcript, confirm your official GPA, change a grade, or advise on an appeal. For anything binding, your registrar or student portal is the only authority — our calculators are for planning and understanding, not for producing an official record.
