Once you earn a C (2.0) or higher in a course, you are not permitted to repeat it for GPA purposes. Exceptions require a petition approved by your college.

Pass/fail grades and your GPA

An S grade represents work equivalent to a C (2.0) or better. Grades earned under the S/U option carry no grade point value and are not computed into the UF grade point average.

UF does not award an A+

The UF scale tops out at A = 4.00. It also uses E rather than F for a failing grade, and E carries 0.00 grade points.
